this is fucking mind blowing. a PI of 70+ is super human. They must be benching 20+ reps of 225 to make those numbers. I cant see many people breaking 10feet on a standing long jump. which means an average 30inch vert.
A football players "Power Index" is determined by adding his vertical jump height (in inches) + his broad jump distance (in feet) + the amount of reps he can bench press 225 lbs. The total of these 3 numbers gives you your "Power Index".
*Over 60 is considered good.
*A Power Index of 70+ is the gold standard to be considered a powerful/explosive freak. Both Ricky McCollum & Chris Hogan (both shown in the video) added themselves to an elite group of athletes from our gym that have achieved the prestigious "70 point standard". Miles Austin (all-time highest point total from our gym - 76.5), Brian Witherspoon, Brian Cushing, Lance Ball & Vinny Ciurciu are a few names from this group that come to mind...
